In this article results of tests of effects of women viewing pleasant and unpleasant pictures. Emotional pictures induces a sustained interference. Reactions on trials presented after mutilation pictures were slower than those presented after erotic or neutral pictures. Women appear to be more emotionally expressive than men, but react not more hyperactive to aversive pictures.
