The authors examine the implications of queer perspectives in the pursuit of social scientific research. Questions of ethnographic fieldwork, researcher-researched relationships and the ethics and politics of research are emphasized. Different possibilities of developing queer methodologies and the meanings of the concepts queer and social science are discussed.
