- Description
- In 2007, four years after the United States of America lead invasion, Iraq is facing a lack of security and basic needs combined with social chaos and violent attacks against women. Some of the most pertinent and detailed responses to the current atmosphere in Iraq may be read in the weblogs of Iraqi women. Many women's responses indicate that any expectation of increased freedom and equality for women under the banner of democracy has not been realised. Author presents a preliminary analysis of an Iraqi woman's perceptions of the democratic process in Iraq, using data available from weblogs.
