This report presents select findings from FRA’s 2019 survey on LGBTI people in the EU and North Macedonia and Serbia, with almost 140,000 participants. It follows the agency’s first survey on LGBT people in the EU, conducted in 2012. The new survey results show little progress over the past seven years.
Authors provide information on and present an analysis of the implementation of Leave Directive 2010/18 as well as possible weaknesses and lacunae in the existing acquis. They focus on the way the various types of family leave and other measures intended to promote the reconciliation of professional and family life are addressed and combined at national level and the extent to which the national approach is in line with EU law.
