- Description
- Comparible analysis of different forms of violence European women experience in their childhood and throughout the course of their lives. This report presents the cross-regional, comparable findings of the OSCE-led Survey on the well-being and safety of women. This study was conducted in 2018 in selected countries in South Eastern Europe and Eastern Europe. The research examined both violence that women experience in conflict and non-conflict settings and the impact violence has on women and girls, including its lasting consequences. Questions on norms and attitudes connected to violence against women were asked to better understand the underlying causes of violence.

- Description
- Global study about women and girls associated with violent extremism. It shows that the roles women play in violent extremism are complex and diverse. They, for example, engage as recruiters, educators or financers. Many may have children while involved with these groups, some are forced to join violent extremist groups, others join voluntarily for reasons similar to those of their male peers. They also raise alarm about rising violent extremism and mobilize as civil society organizations and community .groups to prevent or minimize its spread. The report argues that for effective rehabilitation and reintegration programmes, the Preventing Violent Extremism (PVE) community must recognize the existence of these women and make existing policies and practices genderresponsive for both men and women. In Part 2 and 3, it presents good practices and a seven-elements holistic and gendered approach to disengagement, rehabilitation and reintegration.
