- Description
- Authors examine possible reasons for the underrepresentation of women at universities. Dutch doctoral students show no gender differences in work commitment or work satisfaction, however faculty member in the same university perceived female students to be less committed to their work and female faculty endorsed these gender-stereotypical perceptions most strongly. Another study in Italy confirms these findings.
