- Since 2006 Princess Hijab has been known as an elusive guerilla artist in Paris. Her mission is to 'hijabize' advertisements by spray-painting headscarves onto scantily dressed models and celebrities. She wants to remove the hijab from its gendered and religious context and convert it into a symbol of empowerment and re-embodiment.
