- Description
- Book includes selections from the work of radical feminist author Andrea Dworkin (1946-2005). Dworkin was a polarizing figure within the women's movement. She was infamous for her antipornography attitude in the 1970s and 1980s. The book consists of both fiction and nonfiction work, serving as a flashpoint for current feminist conversations. The collection covers her path from the militant 'Woman Hating' (1974) to the polemics of 'Pornography' (1979) and 'Intercourse' (1987) and her final novel 'Mercy' (1990). It also includes 'Goodbye to All This' (1983), a chapter from an unpublished manuscript and 'My Suicide' (1999), an essay found after her death.
