Seema Kazi completed a PhD thesis on militarization in Kashmir, India, from the Gender Institute at the London School of Economics. The paper is an account of the presentation for a Kashmiri audience at the Academic Discourse 'Through Women's Eyes', Seminar on Kashmir, at InterChurch Peace Council (IKV), Utrecht, The Netherlands, 25-27 October 2007.
