This volume offers insights into the ways in which organizations operate as spaces in which minds are gendered and men and women constructed. This collection brings together four themes that have developed within the field of organizational analysis over the last two decades of the twentieth century: organizational culture: the gendering of organizations: postmodernism and organizational analysis: and critical approaches to management. In addition to its theoretical contributions, this volume aims at introducing research designs, methods and methodologies by which the complex interrelationships between gender, identity and the culture of organizations can be explored.
