- Description
- The author aims to explore the complexities of this cultural moment in the context of expectations implicit in the wave metaphor, as well as those written into Poland's national mythology. Polish feminism resists the chronology of 'waves' and uses styles and tactics characteristic of the third wave to achieve a typical second wave outcome. Feminists are accused of being a danger to Poland entering the EU. The government has given up women's reproductive right to get the support of the church in the referendum.
