This book examines issues involved in creating a gender-inclusive organization. According to the authors, a gender-inclusive climate implies three dimensions: workplace fairness and equity for women, utilizing women's contributing and leading talents and having a socially supportive workplace for women. Part I covers research and practice methods on gender inclusion, strategies for advancing women's careers and building diverse teams. Part II examines issues in improving women in general and women of color in the STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths) fields and women's achievements in entrepreneurship and fast-growing industries. The book is based on presentations and papers presented at the Leaderschip Excellence and Gender in Organizations symposium in Indiana in 2016.
