Feminist mothering
Introduction to differing perspectives and approaches to the practice of mothering. O'Reilly makes a distinction between motherhood as an institution filled with tradition that can possibly lead women to a sense of isolation and feminist mothering that recognizes 'that mothers and children benefit when the mother lives her life, and practices mothering, from a position of agency, authority, authenticity and autonomy.' This book consists of four different themes: motherhood, family, childrearing, and maternal activism.- Creator

Historicising the women's liberation movement in the western world
This book looks at the diversity of the women's movement and the ways in which feminism of the time might be reconsidered and historicised. The contributions cover a range of issues, including feminist art, local activism, class distinction, racial politics, perceptions of motherhood, girls’ education, feminist print cultures, the recovery of feminist histories and feminist heritage and they span personal and political concerns in Britain, Canada and the United States- Creator

The womanist reader
The Womanist Reader anthologizes the major works of womanist scholarship. Charting the course of womanist theory from its genesis as Alice Walker's African-American feminism, through Chikwenye Okonjo Ogunyemi's African womanism and Clenora Hudson-Weems' Africana womanism, to its present-day expression as a global, anti-oppressionist perspective rooted in the praxis of everyday women of color, this interdisciplinary reader traces the rich and diverse history of a quarter century of womanist thought. The book featurs selections from over a dozen disciplines by top womanist scholars from around the world, plus several critiques of womanism. It also contains an extensive bibliography of womanist sources.- Creator

Geschlecht und Wissen = Genre et savoir = Gender and Knowledge

The feminist utopia project
More than fifty writers including Melissa Harris-Perry, Janet Mock, Sheila Heti, and Mia McKenzie imagine a truly feminist world. An abortion provider reinvents birth control, Sheila Bapat envisions an economy that values domestic work, a teenage rock band dreams up a new way to make music, Katherine Cross rewrites the Constitution and Maya Dusenbery resets the standard for good sex. This book challenges the status quo that accepts inequality and violence as a given and inspires to demand a radically better future.- Creator
