DescriptionThe project Intercultural (Museum) Programmes (IP), 1998 till 2004, was based at the Netherlands Museum Association and worked closely together with its sister project Cultural Heritage of Minorities (CEM). Author presents their vision of interculturalisation of the heritage sector. First she describes the political climate and context in which they worked. Stam describes the context as a tightening corset, or a stiffening clog, while they were trying to dance with diversity.
