DescriptionThis report presents an analysis on potential gender gaps in research in Germany, as part of a sustainability project of Elsevier. Some results of the study illustrate that the number of female .researchers in Germany is increasing, their publications have a lower citation impact and female-only publications are the most internationally collaborative. The findings of the report contribute to the discussions on gender inequality in research and support the formulation of policies in the future to promote women in science.
