DescriptionOn April 26th 2015, when radical Islamist opposition forces in Syria announced the 'Great Attack' on Aleppo, young women of various ethnicities and religions backgrounds sought refuge in Le Pont gallery. They were mostly former participants of Art Camping, a collaborative art project initiated by Le Pont in responsive to the outbreak of the Syrian conflict in Aleppo in 2012. This book documents the photo sessions Issa Touma, photographer and director of the gallery, held at Le Pont during the week of the 'Great Attack', like a last message from Aleppo. It tells the story of a group of girls in their customary dressing, stating their fears during the crises, scared about losing either their life or lifestyle.
