| Description | This volume presents a series of essays to support an international workshop on the occasion of the 135th birthday of the foundation of the Deutsche Staatsbürgerinnen-Verband e.V. (DStV). The workshop was held in Berlin von 20 to 22 October. The theme of the essays is the history and future of women's organizations, the women's movement and individual feminists in different European countries, especially in Germany. Some of the German women's organisatiions are: the Algemeine deutsche Frauenverein (ADF) and DStV, the Bund deutscher Frauenvereine (BDF), the Deutsch-Evangelische Frauenbund. Feminists are: Ottilie von Steyber (1804-1870), and Helene Bonfort (1854-1940) |
