- Congrespapers gepresenteerd op de International Economic History Congress in Madrid (1998) over de geschiedenis van arbeidsmigratie door vrouwen. De auteurs tonen aan dat de bijdrage van vrouwen in internationale arbeidsmigratie geen fenomeen is van de laatste decennia van de twintigste eeuw, maar al voorkomt sinds de achttiende eeuw. - Purpose of the seminar is to identify the violation of rights of migrant women in the domestic sector and the violence experienced by them : to strengthen support among migrant women overcoming violations and violence through self-organisation : to encourage institutions to support the campaign for the rights of the migrant women working in the domestic sector : to put forward recommendations that will support effective strategies in combating violations of rights and violence against migrant women.
