This book is both an autobiography and an account of feminist history, from the Women's Liberation Movement in the 1970s to an emerging new wave of radical feminism in the twenty first century. Sheila Jeffreys is a British radical feminist activist who worked mainly against male violence and for lesbian feminism. She joined the UK feminist movement in 1970s, taught at the university in Australia and published books about feminist issues.
