This volume consists of different essays that address the implications of poststructural theory upon the practice of art as therapy. The authors present a range of opinions on the subject of women's issues in art therapy. In this volume, the approaches that challenge the reductive use of psychology are explored, the place of feminism within therapy is interrogated, and the role of women-only groups is discussed.
The essays examine feminist creative expression, the politics of representation and the realities of Chicana life and are structured as a series of dynamic dialogues.
