- Description
- This case study examines the changing patterns in school achievement in different minority ethnic groups in England, It explores the three issues of gender, race and class, but shows the links between them, as one of the constantly emerging themes is that the three inequalities interact. Thus, class is a variable in 'Asian' achievement, gender in middle class choices about schools, 'race' in boys' experience of schooling. The concluding chapter contains case studies of parental choice about schooling which integrates key points in an accessible form.
