This report presents findings of a survey on the impact of the COVID-19 crisis on the lives of women, girls, non-binary, trans, and gender non-conforming persons with disabilities. It summarizes findings related to health, meeting basic needs and violence, presenting the voices of one hundred respondents across the globe. Survey respondents fear healthcare shortages combined with discrimination would impede them from receiving needed care, have trouble meeting their basic needs and fear for their personal safety. The report ends with policy recommendations for states, UN agencies, healthcare and violence services about how to ensure that issues at the intersection of gender and disability are included in COVID-19 responses.
