Margery Corbett Ashby (1882-1981) held important positions in the British and international suffrage movement, she attended international peace conferences and was a candidate for the Liberal Party in several local elections. She worked for the International Woman Suffrage Alliance, later the International Alliance of Women (IAW). In these 'Memoirs' she writes about her life and work. Her son Michael edited and added material.
