This book provides an overview of the life story of Mexican artist Frida Kahlo (1907-1954). The chapters are illustrated by photographs of her personal belongings such as her Mexican outfits, jewellery and cosmetics as well as some of her art work and self-portraits. The publication accompanies the exhibition 'Frida Kahlo : making her self up' held from 16 June until 4 November 2018 at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
