Samenvatting

De strijd om de macht neemt veelal de vorm aan van de strijd om gelijke rechten. Gelijkheid betekent het overnemen van de dominante 'mannelijke' waarden. Maar door macht mannelijk te noemen, behoeven vrouwen de machtsdrift die hen doet streven naar overheersing en zeggenschap over anderen niet te onderkennen. Ook de vrouwenbeweging maakt gebruik van onderscheiden naar klasse en ras en is daarmee een witte bourgeois belangengroep geworden. Als actieve feministen een ander waardesysteem hadden dan mannen, zouden ze niet accepteren dat macht boven recht gaat.
