Periodicals that played a role in Braidotti’s work from the time she just finished her PhD (in 1981) to the publication of the first book (in 1991). The periodicals are linked to different feminist ‘collectives’ in Italy and France. Both countries were crucial for Braidotti, because she re-entered Europe from Australia in 1977 and chose to re-connect to her own home-country, Italy, while she was living, studying and later working in Paris. So these feminist ‘rags’ are stepping stones in Braidotti’s political and theoretical itinerary. She visited those collectives, worked with them and tried to keep in touch over the years. She kept one copy, as a reminder, or a ‘bookmark’ for collectives and organizations whose history is intermingled with her. 1979-2006.. 1 folder.
