Historical Note / Geschiedenis

Founded in 1982 in Switzerland by Ruth Epting; an international, church-related organisation which is active in 30 countries of Europe; a network of women from all Christian traditions; its aims are to strengthen the ecumenical network of women, to help women to find the common European identity, to challenge women to action; the Dutch Greet den Dulk-Barens was a member of the Finance Committee; www.efecw.net; see also the publication 'Three generations with energy and vision. 30 Years Ecumenical Forum of European Christian Women 1982-2012'.
