Founded June 10, 1978 in London by 25 women from France, England, the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, United States of America, Switzerland, Italy and Columbia; the initiative came of the National Abortion Campaign (NAC) in Engeland; second meeting was September 1978 in Bruxelles; first major activity was International Day of Action on March 31, 1979.
